FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
We are asked a variety of questions each & every day by players who want more information, as well as new players who just want to know how junkets work.  We have compiled a list of some of the most commonly asked questions with concise answers to help you get the information you are looking for.  Don't hesitate to call us if we can provide more information about these or any other topics.
Q.     What is a "qualified player" and how do I become one?
A.     A qualified player is someone who has established a level of play at a casino that allows them to pre-qualify for free trips, free rooms, food or other comps.  A players' rating is based on their past play and is a numeric value assigned by the casino (often referred to as "rating points" or "points.")  Casinos evaluate a persons' rating by looking at the size of their average bet and the length of time they spend playing each day.  Average bet & time spent playing each day relate directly to each other.  For example, the higher a persons' average bet, the quicker they can earn enough points to qualify.  The smaller the bets, the more time it takes to get rated.

Q.     Is my rating based on the number of comps points or reward credits I earn?
A.     No - comp points or Total Reward points are earned by a player as they play and can be used to cover expenses like food, show tickets, beverages, etc.  Comp points can be seen by the player when they look at their account on-line, at a rewards kiosk or at a slot machine.  These ARE NOT the same thing as rating points, which are not displayed to the player when they look at their account.

Q.    How many comps, comp points or Total Rewards points are deducted for travel on your junkets?
A.     NONE!  Travel with our company does not cost you ANY COMP POINTS for flight, luggage handling, room or ground transportation.  Qualified players travel at no charge & new guests can join us for a very reasonable rate, and neither guests loses any comp points to travel with us.  You can use your comps to cover the cost of your food, beverage & other activities while on our trip, but the trip itself costs no comp points for any of our guests.

Q.     Are there different level of qualification that a player can achieve?
A.     Again, a players' level of qualification depends on how they play & varies according to time played & average bets.  No two people play exactly the same and no two people will have exactly the same qualification.  A basic qualification could earn a player just a comped room or meal.  A higher qualification could earn free junket travel.  An even higher qualification could mean complimentary gourmet dining, shows, invitations to special events, limousine service & more.  As your qualification increases, so do the wonderful comps & special privileges that become available to you.

Q.     What types of planes do you use for your junkets?
A.     Our standard junket flights are on comfortable, spacious 99-passenger charter jets, most often an E190 operated by Republic Airways.  Our VIP junkets (for well-qualified players only) are flown on luxurious Dornier 328 30-passenger jets.  All our flights are non-stop & include beverage & snack service.  All large jets include wifi service as well.

Q.     I have traveled with another junket company in the past.  Would that qualify me to travel with
Grand America Company?
A.     If you are a qualified player with another casino or junket company, give us a call.  If we can verify your level of play, we'll be very happy to have you join us for free!

Q.     What service charges and/or taxes will be my responsibility during my trip?
A.     A complimentary or retail large jet junket does not include a $5 per room, per night NJ Tourism Fee, which is added to your hotel bill at check out.  Guests booked at the comp levels of RFB or LFB can use their Reward Credits to cover this charge if they prefer, or it can be charged to the credit card that was posted to the room at check-in.  A $30 Junket Experience Fee (per person) is also not included in a complimentary or retail booking.  This fee will be charged to your credit card at the time of booking.

Q.     How many bags can I take on my flight?
A.     Each passenger is allowed a maximum of two checked bags on large jet charters and one checked bag on 30-seat charters at no charge.

Q.     Is there a limit to the number of complimentary alcoholic drinks I can on the flight?
A.     Yes.  Complimentary or retail booking on a large jet charter includes one complimentary alcoholic beverage on each flight segment.  30-seat jets are not restricted in this manner.

Q.     Is wi-fi available on your flights?
A.      Yes - wi-fi is available at no additional charge on all large jet charters (99-seat flights.)  It is not yet available on the 30-seat jets.

Q.    Do I have to pay the $30 Junket Experience Fee, even if I am Diamond or Seven Stars?
A.     If you are traveling on a Caesars Entertainment large jet charter (99, 140 or 150 passenger jets) the $30 Junket Experience Fee is automatically charges to your credit card by the casino at the time of the junket booking.  This fee includes the $11.20 Federal Airport Security Fee and other fees & taxes.  This fee is not applied on 30-seat jet charters at this time.

Q.     I know a lot of the casinos have implemented Resort Fees.  Do I have to pay these, too?
A.     Not on our charter flights.  The Junket Experience Fee is the only fee for which you will be responsible.  On individual trips (refered to as 'splinter' trips) resort fees may come into play only for Platinum and Gold Total Rewards members.  Resort fees are waived for Diamond and Seven Stars players.
